Throughout my life, baking has always been there. From my childhood, when I stood on an old bucket and helped my mom make biscuits, to my six years as a baker and pastry chef in Chicago, I’ve been drawn to the art and science of quality baked goods. But as I’ve grown, I’ve come to realize that baking is so much more than a passion and a career to me. It’s a window into my past. A way to honor my roots and keep the spirit of my family, and my history, alive.
